SUSTAINABLY RAISED BEEF 

Our steers are sustainably raised and grazed on un-sprayed pasture, and given alfalfa and timothy in the winter months.

Our grass-fed beef price for this year is $4.50 per pound hanging weight for the beef.

Butcher prices change from year to year and are based on the hanging weight of the beef. 

If we assume 1,000 lbs. on the hoof (live weight) for figuring purposes, it may weigh up to 1,200 lbs. or as little as 900 lbs.

60% of live weight on rail = 600 lbs (hanging weight).

Cut and wrapped meat = 70% x 600 = 420 lbs.
